Who We Are

Michele

Nicole

Hey there! We’re two longtime educators with a knack for structure and a heart for people. For years, we’ve led classrooms, built systems, calmed chaos, and carried the invisible load at home and work. With roots in special education, ADHD and autism support, and trauma-informed practices, we understand the unique challenges that come with navigating busy, complex lives.

Beyond the classroom, Michele brings hands-on expertise in teaching and implementing life skills for individuals with complex needs and their caregivers. Nicole is a trained death doula with experience supporting families through end-of-life care. Together, we’ve guided people through some of life’s most demanding and tender moments, always with compassion and practicality.

We’ve managed households filled with children, pets, and spouses; supported countless moves and relocations; and even worked in property management. In short, we know what it means to juggle responsibilities, solve problems, and keep things running because we’ve lived it.

We created If the Shoe Fits because we know what it’s like to be in those shoes: the ones that never stop moving, never quite get a break, and are always one undone task away from tipping over. Now, we’re here to help carry the load. Whether it’s errands, organization, or just getting your life back in rhythm, we bring calm, capable support that fits your world.
